Tonight at the Rock

Fans and guests alike expect the unexpected from The Tonight Show, but no one imagined that we’d put the entire show into Fortnite.

Lights, Camera, Action!

Fans love watching The Tonight Show, but for the first time ever, we let them play it, too. Jimmy invited them into the show via Fortnite to explore our take on the show from a virtual Rockefeller Center.

Games like Cabbie Crash Course, Giant Pong, Escape From Studio 6B, and Piñata Smash made every player the star of the show. We even leveled up every game with Samsung power-ups, too.

Going live

When the time came, not only did Jimmy Fallon introduce the world to the Tonight Show's Fortnite world, he played it live on the show. We even challenged Jimmy to a real life version of our Giant Pong game set at 30 Rock.

high score!

Fortnite fans heard Jimmy's invitation loud and clear, and the numbers proved it. Half a million Fallon viewers and Fortnite players played the show for 2.5 million minutes and counting. Some of those minutes even led to a viral YouTube video.

AdAge was excited too.
